Set off from downtown Saigon as you embark on a water journey to take in the stunning scenery up close and catch a glimpse of small-village life along the river. Marvel at life as it unfolds in some of the most fascinating destinations, including a local riverside market, a Cao Dai temple and a Buddhist pagoda, all while gaining a deeper insight into the rich tradition and culture of the Delta region.

Furthermore, taking a sampan boat adventure across a small scenic canal, cycling through the tranquil countryside and engaging with hospitable locals are among the delights of a trip to the Mekong Delta. 7:30AM, be picked up from the hotel lobby for a transfer to the central pier by car or minivan.

Embark on a speedboat onward to Mekong Delta and capture a glimpse of Vietnam's diverse landscape, from gleaming skyscrapers and busy commercial centers to peaceful rural life along the riverbank.

While on board, you can enjoy a light breakfast, fresh tropical fruits and mineral water as well as take in the beauty of the natural surroundings and gaze at the tranquil waterway dotted with various boats, traditional village houses and lush vegetation. The tour guide will provide intriguing information about the daily life of local people along the riverside and the natural environment.

8:30AM, visit a local riverside market filled with seasonal fruits, vegetables, spices, seafood and other local specialties. Take some time to explore the market and soak up its bustling atmosphere before continuing your boat journey to the Mekong Delta.

9:15AM, disembark the speedboat take a leisurely bicycle ride along a serene countryside trail to witness the idyllic pace of daily life in the Mekong Delta and experience the warm hospitality of the locals. Along the way, explore a small village up close featuring rustic houses and bridges, gently flowing canals, lush plants, vibrant flowers, lively shrimp farms and vast paddy fields...

Stop en route to visit a local Cao Dai temple to discover its spectacular architectural styles and learn about one of the most enigmatic religions in Vietnam.

10:45AM, continue cycling to visit a local three-generation family who crafts traditional rice wine to learn about their brewing process and even taste a sample. This experience also allows you to engage with locals and gain insight into their daily routines and customs.

11:00AM, keep on your river journey to the Mekong Delta.

12:00PM, onshore, take a relaxing stroll along a village path surrounded by fruit orchards and floral gardens. Then, board a tuk-tuk to visit a local farmer's house and enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch.

After lunch, continue your tour by hopping back in the tuk-tuk to visit a Buddhist pagoda built in the 18th century with unique architecture that showcases Vietnam's rich cultural heritage and spiritual traditions.

2:30PM, approach a local pier to board a sampan boat for an excursion along a small and scenic canal lined with freshwater mangroves and water coconut palms. This provides an excellent opportunity to unwind and take in the sights and sounds of this picturesque water region.

3:00PM, say goodbye to the Mekong Delta and get on a speedboat to return to Saigon.

5:00PM, arrive back to the pier and be dropped off at your hotel.
