Best way to see Cu Chi Tunnels

JP was the ultimate tour guide for our 1/2 day Cu Chi tunnels. We had an absolute ball and learnt so much. JP made it fun and took lots of photos and made it a day we won't forget. Highly recommended. We were a group of 8 adults aged 20-58 and we all got so much out of it.

Taking the Cu Chi Tunnels tour by speedboat was a brilliant decision. We were picked up at our hotel, and the boat ride lasted just over an hour. The tunnels were incredibly interesting and gave us a clear understanding of how they played a role during the war. It’s an unmissable destination for history fans in Vietnam. The tour was efficiently organized, and we stayed in touch with the operator through WhatsApp after booking online. For a faster and more enjoyable journey, I strongly suggest going by boat.

We chose the Cu Chi Tunnels tour by speedboat, which turned out to be a fantastic way to skip the hectic traffic in Saigon. A hotel pickup made things convenient, and the boat journey took around 1 hour and 10 minutes. A light breakfast was served onboard. Exploring Cu Chi was fascinating — it offered deep insight into the impact of the war and how the tunnels were used strategically. Anyone interested in history should definitely add this to their Vietnam itinerary. The entire experience was well-planned, and communication with the Fisheye via WhatsApp was smooth. I highly recommend taking the speedboat option to save time and avoid road congestion.

A great day tour

Thanks to Fisheye, we had a fantastic experience with J.P., our guide who truly made our trip unforgettable. We took the speedboat along the beautiful Saigon River, it was such an enjoyable and relaxing way to explore, it truly much better than sitting on a bus. In just one day, we got to see so many sides of Saigon, from the historical Cu Chi Tunnels, then turn another side to the local life of the Mekong Delta. J.P told us, “If you want to learn about the Vietnam War, go to Cu Chi. If you want to experience real Vietnamese life, visit the Mekong Delta.” He was right! The day was great, he made our day! We can’t thank J.P. enough for his knowledge, and the way he brought Vietnam’s history and culture to life. We highly recommend the tour!

Speedboat day tour of Cu Chi tunnels and Mekong Delta

We did a full day tour of Mekong Delta and CuChi tunnels by speedboat with Fisheye Tours. It was a fantastic tour. The knowledge and passion of our guide, T was extraordinary and made a great tour fantastic. The tour was a bit on the expensive side but well worth it for the convenience of the speed boat. We thoroughly enjoyed it and recommend doing this tour…and it would be a bonus if you got T as your guide for the day
